We are Food Justice DMV… an all volunteer collective standing with thousands of neighbors throughout the DMV.

Many volunteers become regulars and those who once might have been strangers or an abstraction are now the child who ran out and giggled as they helped their parent with the comida.
200 people can now add food delivery to their resumé and 50 plus volunteers keep our wheels turning.

We are your back up singer from start to finish. We prefer you are confident instead of confused. Español is a plus, but not required. We provide sample messages y teléfono support. Volunteers do deliveries by neighborhood to save time and reduce vehicle emissions. The typical delivery takes a total of 1.5 to 3 horas from the time you pick up the family’s goodies to the time you complete your last delivery.
Tuesday | Virginia
Every Tuesday 10-25 volunteers deliver to approximately 75-150 families. Fruits, veggies and mucho más are given to our community leaders who deliver it to schools, churches, barrios, restaurant workers, survivors of fires, etc.
10 to 11:30 am pick up window - Easy-peasy arrangements can be made for mid-day or post-work deliveries.

Thursday | Maryland
Our power house 36 community leaders. They deliver to approximately 3,000 families monthly including 19 churches, 9 barrios, 5 apartment complex, 2 schools, 1 university, restaurant workers, just released hospital patients via our partnership with Medstar, survivors of fires and more!
